ASI Production Services is incredibly proud of our staff and their tireless efforts during the 2008 Event Solutions Idea Factory: Events, Education, Expo.
The Las Vegas staff, with additional support from other ASI Regional Offices, really shook up the place, (stirred just doesn’t begin to describe it).
This internationally recognized event was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from February 24th thru 28th, 2008; as the exclusive Drapery and Staging Vendor, ASI Production Services provided 30’ Tall, Plush, Black Velour Drapery as beautiful wall masking throughout the entire Exhibit Hall.

Opening General Session:
ASI Production Services, along with the All Staging Unlimited team, provided five Roll Tubes with 35’ wide projection screens; surrounded by large quantities of Black Velour Drapery and rated ASI risers… it was an impressive sight.

The 2008 Fabulous Show Case was the sumptuously immoral place to be; held at the Pavilions within The World Market Center, ASI Production Services provided and installed 455 Risers and 4000’ of 22’ Tall Softgoods consisting of Colored Velour’s and Sateen’s.

ASI Production Services and Bill Whidden Designs Share Vegas Warehouse
Two national event industry suppliers “move in together” and shake up Sin City

On March 1, 2008 the two nationally acclaimed companies will open their newly shared space—a 12,000-square-foot warehouse complete with three loading docks—located at 6560 South Tioga Way, Suite 110, Las Vegas, NV 89113. The warehouse will house a comprehensive selection of inventory including theatrical soft goods, decking/risers, and set pieces from ASI; lighted acrylic bars, buffets, lounge furniture, centerpieces, tables, fabric walls and columns from Bill Whidden Designs. Clients may order from one or both companies as needed. There is never an obligation to use both companies…just a suggestion.

It’s the beginning of a new year and there is an abundance of exciting news at ASI Production Services.

ASI Production Services has taken on new industry collaboration with the addition of the Ice Magic product line to our ever increasing inventory of: rental theatrical softgoods staging risers and production sales products. The ASI Production Services west coast office is hereby inviting our clients to also become smitten with the coolness and elegance of lighted tables, chairs, cubes…you name it, it’s lit! We’re eagerly awaiting the Ice Magic product line, set to hit the Vegas runways March 1, 2008.

It is with pleasure we announce the expansion of the ASI Las Vegas office from the current 10,000 to a brand new 15,000 square foot warehouse. The 2007 New Year’s celebrations have come and gone. The year went out like a lion and in walked in 2008, full of anticipation and high hopes. .

ASI Production Services would like to take this opportunity to thank Swank Audio Visual for entrusting ASI Production Services to partner with them in accomplishing one of the largest and quickest turn around elevated seating arrangements ever proposed to ASI.

In partnership with Swank Audio Visual, ASI Production Services provided the necessary labor and staging required to erect an elevated seating structure at the luxurious Loews Hotel on the sultry beach of Miami. Florida. Designed to support 714 attendees, the elevated platforms provided spacious and comfortable seating upon our ASI 18” X 18” chairs. This may not seem like a large task but…… trying doing it with an “edge” and extremely small window of time, (OK….that’s what we do but we’re still proud)! ASI Production Services utilized the expertise and talent of our Installation crew to provide the unique Elevated Seating configuration that provided the design, look and feel of a permanent structure. Swank Audio Visual’s goal was to create the ideal ambiance, flow, and functionality of a very distinguished and special event, while bringing their clients vision to life. ASI Production Services built the monstrosity of 10 Elevated Seating Levels in TEN hours. This is one for the record books. By working in partnerships with other event professionals, the ASI Production Services team is given the opportunity to truly shine.

Tradeshow News:
ASI Production Services was the Exclusive Drapery and Staging Sponsor of the prestigious Event Solutions Tradeshow. This year’s annual event was held in beautiful Miami, Fl at the Miami Beach Convention Center. ASI Production Services sponsored the Welcome Reception, themed “Passionata” at the premier nightclub Mansion. We don’t normally spread rumors, but we hear the human carpet was an innovative hit. Don’t worry…no humans, (pretending to be carpet) were hurt in the process as ASI Production Services provided the clear Plexiglas risers that came between the tradeshow attendees footwear and the human carpet featured beneath. Could there be a more unique manner of welcoming guests? We think not!
Moving On…the Sneak Preview Party was held on the Expo Floor. ASI Production Services provided the Main Stage and all the Black Velour Drapery. Next… (It was a busy show), ASI Production Services was featured at the 2007 Event Solutions Fabulous Showcase Event & catersource Culinary Event on Wednesday, August 22 at the Soho Studios in the Wynwood Convention Center. ASI Production Services enveloped the old style Miami, Art Deco Warehouse into the premier host venue with the provision of over 3,000’ of rich, plush velours, ranging in our full pallet of available colors, in addition to our runways and dance floors…. If it was in the warehouse, we brought it and installed it. For the finale, (drum roll please), we provided vibrant sateen draperies in a multitude of heights and colors to enhance the 2007 Spotlight Awards held at the Olympia Theater in the Guzman Center for the Performing Arts and the Alfred I. Dupont Building in Miami Beach, FL. We thank all of our friends and new prospective clients for stopping by the booth, as always, we enjoyed reconnecting with all of our industry associates.
We’re anticipating the opportunity to meet and greet old and new friends and associates while exhibiting at the LDI Tradeshow. This year’s event is to be held in Orlando, FL at the Orange Convention Center, November 16th – 18th, 2007. ASI Production Services will be awaiting your arrival in Booth # 1165.
Please join the ASI family as we send out a BIG Congratulatory yell to Zenya Moreira. Zenya is the proud new mother of Kayla Ulyssa Valazquez – Moreira. Born on August 12, 2007, Kayla weighed in at 7lbs 10 oz. and is the spitting image of her mom. We wish Zenya, Angel, (Dad) and Kayla, lots of sleep, relaxation and bonding time. Zenya will be returning to ASI and her clients in the next few weeks.

The new ASI Production Services SL 100 Mobile Stage unit will hold its first revealing at the University of Florida Campus for the Butterfly Festival.

It was a Stacked Deck, (literally) but not a gamble, because ASI Production Services provided the elevated seating at the world renowned Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi for the World Poker Tournament. In addition to the seating risers, ASI provided Plush Black Velour to surround the perimeter of the Full House, uh…ballroom.

August 2007 Newsletter

Well…we are so glad you asked! One of our larger clients has requested Iris, (deep purple, as in the beautiful purple flower). In our eagerness to please, ASI Production Services has produced 130’ x 22’ in height Encore drape.

In addition to the Iris, we have updated our inventory of Grey Velour with an infusion of an additional 1,100 ft of 22’ in ht. Grey Velour is an excellent pallet for beautiful lighting and vibrant accents.

There was nothing standing between Mr. John Q. Public and Bruce Willis with the exception of ASI Production Services Barricades. It was during a NetFlix sponsored viewing of the movie Armageddon that Bruce and the band performed at the Kennedy Space Center, in Cocoa Beach Florida. Performing behind our barricades, Mr. Willis fared far better in concert, (nobody died or was left behind) than he did in the movie.

ASI is again providing Staging for the annual Tampa Bridal show. The 2007 Event will be held at the A La Carte Event Pavilion in Tampa, Florida, August 19th. ASI Black Marley Risers will be the platform to showcase beautiful wedding attire with silky white Sateen as the backdrop setting the stage!

The SL 320 Mobile Stage was positioned at Dobyns Bennett High School in Kingsport, TN as the “Main Stage” from July 18th thru July 22nd, 2007.

Thursday: July 19th WXBQ Radio Station featured Lee Brice on the SL 320. Friday: July 20th, 2007 featuring Quietdrive, Kimberley Locke and Relient K.

Saturday: July 21st, 2007 Eastman Concert- Gravely presents The Charlie Daniels Band with Symphony of the Mountains.
